New Copperhill Mayor and Board Members Take Office

The City of Copperhill proudly announces the swearing-in of its newly elected Mayor, Greg Barker, and members of the Board of Aldermen on December 2nd, 2024. This marks the beginning of an exciting chapter in Copperhill’s growth and development.

Mayor Barker brings a wealth of experience and a vision focused on safety, community development, economic growth, and infrastructure improvements.

Joining the Mayor are the newly elected Board of Aldermen:

The Board members, representing diverse backgrounds and expertise, are united in their dedication to serving the citizens of Copperhill. Together, they aim to enhance public services, support local businesses, and foster community engagement.

The swearing-in ceremony, held at City Hall, was attended by residents, family members, local leaders, and community stakeholders. The event underscored the city’s commitment to transparency, collaboration, and progress.

“As someone born and raised in the Basin, it is a privilege to serve this community. Copperhill’s future is limitless, and it’s exciting to be a part of the continued revitalization and growth of the area. Our city is a true small town USA, filled with great local businesses and folks, and there is room for more to come. We seek to preserve that feel above all else, however, while also hoping to welcome thew new. This is an impactful time to be a part of Copperhill, and I cannot wait for what’s ahead.,” said newly elected Alderman Jake Reuse.

The new administration invites residents to share their ideas and participate actively in shaping Copperhill’s future. Monthly board meetings are open to all, and community members are encouraged to participate.
