Turtletown Falls Trail

Discover this 3.8-mile loop trail near Farner, Tennessee, a challenging yet rewarding route that takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes to complete. Popular for hiking and horseback riding, the trail often sees visitors, but its scenic beauty makes it well worth the trip. Open year-round, it offers stunning views in every season. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash.

This trail winds through a lush forest before leading to the breathtaking Turtletown Falls. To access the trailhead, a 4WD vehicle is recommended due to rocky road conditions. Since the trail is not well marked and cell reception can be unreliable, using an offline map is advised.

Important note: Google Maps directions for this trail may be inaccurate, directing you to Newman Road. Instead, search for “Turtletown Creek Falls Trailhead” on Google Maps, which will guide you to a junction on Farner Road with a gravel road. Follow the gravel road to its end to find the trailhead.
