City Hall (YMCA Building)

Copperhill’s City Hall, situated at the corner of Grande Avenue and Main Street, holds a storied history that dates back to the 1920s. Built in 1925 by the Tennessee Copper Company, the structure originally served as a YMCA building and is a prime example of Colonial Revival architecture. Recognized for its historical and architectural significance, it was listed as a contributing resource to the Copperhill Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

A notable feature of the building is the World War I Memorial Plaque located near the entrance. This plaque honors the memory of local soldiers who gave their lives during the First World War, serving as a poignant reminder of the community’s sacrifice and resilience.
